VE Exhibit Label 1:
The boat Milwaukee used by the Milwaukee Mining Co to service the workers at the different mines around the lake bringing food and supplies. Boathouse at Kalispell Bay. Green recalled the family also used the buildings for family use and when the Forest Service took over the mines in the 1960s, the family went to court to try and keep these buildings. They lost, the buildings destroy and it is now the Kalispell Day Use Area.
