Written on the back of the image is: "A picture of myself with a load of George Ducommon's effects. In background is Beaver Cr. RS and Plow Boy LO. Charlie Long and I were deputized to go up and bring out Geo's property after he drowned in 1938 in the Upper Priest Thoroughfare area. When we do there we found that he had very little earthly belongings. Jess K Underwood."
