Please consider becoming a host at the museum one or two days each summer. You can select your days and either a three-or-six hour shift. We will train you and as a host you get to talk with all sorts of interesting people and help out the museum too. We have no regularly paid staff, so the museum can open its door because of our remarkable hosts. Contact Us and the Host Coordinator will get in touch with you.
In 2019, the museum was open for 85 days with the help of over 45 volunteer hosts. Visitors represented 11 different countries and more than 40 states. Some hosts are locals and others are seasonal, but all enjoy spending time supporting the museum by sharing their experiences and knowledge with visitors.
